ABOUT DC

While most young kids were spending their Friday nights watching TV and playing video games, DC Ervin was in the back of some of the hottest comedy clubs watching his father perform standup. Fast forward years lat- er, after failed attempts as an NBA star, gangster rapper, and Calvin Klein underwear model, DC reverted back to his childhood and followed the comedy footsteps of his father. Born and bred in the Bay Area, DC is making major waves on the Los Angeles comedy scene.
DC made his National television debut on ABC’s The Evidence in 2005 and he hasn’t slowed down. He has gone on to perform on some of the greatest stand-up comedy shows: NBC’s Last Comic Standing, FOX “Laughs”, Aspire Network’s “We Got Next and Bounce TV’s “Off The Chain”. When not on stage, DC writes and produces his own short films and comedy sketches. Which has sharpened his craft and has enabled him to be a part of films like Marlon Wayans’ horror spoof, A Haunted House 1 & 2, and his breakout role in the feature film 50 Shades of Black.
DC also hosted the weekly show, The Crack’em Up Comedy Show, at The Comedy Store in Hollywood, CA. DC Ervin’s great personality and unique brand of comedy makes him a solid crowd favorite at The Comedy Store, The Comedy and Magic Club, The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Union, The Improv, The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, Flappers, Pepperbelly’s, Tommy T’s, The Punchline (San Francisco, Sacramento), The Comedy Club at Pechanga, The Purple Onion, The Ha Ha Café… just to name a few, as well as a crowd favorite on the college circuit.
DC has featured for Jerry Seinfeld, Damon Wayans Jr., Bill Burr, DL Hughley, Steve Burns and many more. You can currently find him on tour with Marlon Wayans as well as the newly released Comedy Special on Amazon Prime , Tony Baker & Friends.
